Dr Triplett's CE Primary School

“Love, Compassion, Respect”

Our Strategic Vision

Dr Triplett’s Church of England Primary School

Strategic Vision and Values

At Dr Triplett’s we aim to serve our community by providing an education of the

highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. We encourage an

understanding of the meaning and significance of faith, and promote the Christian

values of love, compassion and respect for each other through the experience we

offer to all pupils.

Our vision is that we will:

• Have a strong reputation as a school which celebrates diversity by

consistently achieving the best for all our pupils including those with special

educational needs and the more able;

• Enable our pupils to acquire the basic concepts, values and attitudes which

will form a sound basis for the next phase of their education and eventually

for adult life;

• Be recognised locally as making a positive contribution to our community;

• Be an employer of choice, providing high quality continuous professional

development and supported opportunities for progression.

We will demonstrate our Christian values of love, compassion and respect by:

• Providing a warm, caring environment where the children feel secure and

valued. As a Church of England School we uphold Christian values whilst

embracing the diversity of the human family. We believe that our children

should learn in an environment which is tolerant and respectful of all beliefs

and cultures;

• Providing a broad and balanced curriculum that will enable each child to

reach their full potential and develop their interests, talents and skills. We

want pupils to develop lively, enquiring minds with ability to question, discuss

and formulate ideas and we want them to become independent learners;

• Encouraging physical development, team spirit and personal excellence in

• Giving children a wide range of experiences which will extend their

understanding of themselves and the world they live in;

• Encouraging children to show consideration and respect for other members of

the school and wider community and to develop a sense of responsibility for

themselves, for others and for the environment;

• Providing opportunities for spiritual growth and development through

collective worship, times for reflection and opportunities for prayer;

• Establishing an effective partnership between home, school, church and the

community for the well being of the children and the success of the school;

• Continually promoting the British values of democracy, the rule of law,

individual liberty, and mutual respect and tolerance of all.

We will continually review our strategic vision to ensure it fits with national and local

priorities, and the changing expectations of our stakeholders. It will provide the

foundation for our school improvement planning and the practical demonstration of

our ambition for our pupils.
