Dear Parents & Carers,

You may be aware from media coverage that the government has asked some schools to close or partially close due to the presence of reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (RAAC) in their school buildings. We understand that this is an unsettling news story and that it may naturally have led you to wonder about the safety of our school building.

Our surveyor has informed us that our school building has not had any RAAC identified and is fully safe to open.

This was confirmed in September 2022 after the government asked all schools to check their buildings for RAAC.

I hope that this provides reassurance. We look forward to welcoming your child on Wednesday 6^th September when the gates will open at 8:30am for registration at 8:45am.
