Our PE & Sport Premium Allocation 2014-2016

Dr Triplett's C.E. Primary School - PE & Sport Premium Allocation - 2016/2018
At Dr Triplett's, we use the sports premium to make additional and sustainable improvements to enable the delivery of PE and sport for the benefit of all pupils, encouraging the development of healthy, active lifestyles.

Projects and initiatives completed from Apr 2016- Dec 2017
# Training 5 staff in Active play to enhance playground activities
# Create a zoned playground for creative sporting activities & competition - we received a local grant to completely resurface our playground area, sourcing two brand new netball courts, basketball court, mini tennis and football area. Sports premium has supplied equipment for playground (netball posts, football goals and table tennis tables).
# Performed in the annual Dance festival at the Beck Theatre
# Maintained our SNAG, G+T, Less Active, Basketball, & Foundation Football initiatives
# Effectively launch forest school to promote healthy, active lifestyles
# Maintain our Gold award from the Your School Games Scheme
# Introduce daily physical activity as part of a whole school approach - Daily mile launched September 2017 - 15 minutes activitiy every day.
       
What we would like to do in the future: - Budget £27,255.17
# Promote new sports as noted in pupil voice questionnaire for After school clubs proposed cost = £720 (£240 per term)
# Maintain our initiatives targeting G&T, less active and foundation children proposed cost = £2,334 (PSD) + £1500 (Basketball) = Total £3,834
# Develop Dail Mile Initiative - Music system, Daily mile track, equipment proposed cost = £1000
# Develop a health and fitness playground with primary school outdoor gymnasium, Daily Mile Track, playground markings promoting games and active daily lifestyles. proposed cost = £8,548 (Primary School Gym Pack 4 + balance beam 1.8m x2) = £5102.50 (multiple variety playground markings.) = £5000 (resurface of playground if needed) Budget allocated = £24,204.00 ___________________________________________ Left to allocate = £3,051.17
