Dr Triplett’s 2015/2016 – Competitive Sports Review

We have had another excellent year of competitive sports here at Dr Triplett’s.  We entered almost every competition available and have produced some wonderful performances throughout the year; every child that has represented our school has done us proud.  I would like to thank our fantastic parents for all their support, offers of transport and positivity at every event. A big thank you must also go to Miss V Marley and Mrs J Evans for all their support at various events over the course of the year, but especially the time they dedicate to our dance and netball squads.

Here is a summary of our participation and achievements this year.

Sports Update

We had a successful autumn term with our sport at Dr Triplett's.  The football team played 5 matches and won all 5.  The team sheets and goalscorers are noted below.  They have played some fantastic football and showed great teamwork and sportsmanship.  We now have a rest for the winter break and play our final game of the season in February when we will hopefully qualify for the borough finals.  Well done boys.
Our girls netball team has attended three rounds of fixtures against Cranford Park, Hayes Park and Minet.  They have played very well considering these were their first competitive  matches and were learning the rules and positions as the weeks went by.
We had a fantastic result at the cross country competition with Richard Olise winning the entire boys competition. He has now qualified to run as an individual at the borough finals after half term.  Good luck Richard.
