We were visited by Ofsted inspectors on 23rand 24tJune. As the school had a Requires Improvement judgement exactly two years previously, this was a full inspection as opposed to the one day inspections that currently ‘good’ schools get.
The three inspectors spent their time speaking with children, watching lessons, looking at children’s work, meeting with parents and interviewing staff and governors. All aspects of the school’s work were scrutinised and this was a very thorough and transparent process.
I am now delighted to say that the school has been judged GOOD in every category. This is a significant achievement in today’s educational climate and a real testament to the enormous amount of hard work that has taken place on every aspect of our work since the last inspection.
I would personally like to express my sincere thanks to all the staff and governors for their part in this and to parents for their continued support of the school.
