(with added reverb!)

1. We thank you Father that so long ago
One of your servants heard a call
To share the blessings you had given him
To provide us with a school

We thank you Lord for Dr Triplett's
To help and guide us on our way
And we will give you all the glory
And love and serve you all our days.

Thank-you Lord
For Doctor Triplett's
Bless us Lord we pray
Guide us every day

Help us to show
Love, compassion, respect
And to follow Jesus
All our days.

2. We thank you Father for the things we learn
In our classes every day
For the wisdom of our teachers Lord
Yet there's one thing that we pray;

Grant us a Wisdom that is greater
Eternal Father through your Son
We will remember our Creator
Now, in these days while we are young.

3. We thank you Father for our Parish church,
A haven in the heart of Hayes,
Bearing witness through the centuries,
To a God who does not change.

Through all our earthly times and ages,
God on his throne in heaven reigns
As yesterday, today, forever,
The love of Jesus stays the same.

Performances:
It's still early days, but here are a couple of performances of the new school hymn.

A Year 5 choir sang the School Hymn at a Hillingdon borough schools singing festival at the Winston Churchill Hall in Ruislip on March 2nd, 2009.

They were an enormous credit to the school; they sang beautifully and attracted many favourable comments from the organisers and from other members of the audience from other schools.

Or watch the Youtube video to the right. Unfortuantely, the camera was a long way back, so you can't actually see them!

An impromptu performance at the multicultural evening in April, by those children who just happened to be present (40megs, so it'll take a while to appear!)
